小乌鸦羽毛鸟黑，后背和两个翅膀却散发
出漂亮的紫蓝色光泽。眼睛亮晶晶的，呈淡褐
色，透着一股狡猾劲儿。他看唐可儿的方式很
奇怪，先是把头转向一边，用右眼盯着她，然
后再扭到另一边，用左眼看。唐可儿经常想知
道，自己在小乌鸦的两只眼睛里是一样呢，还
是有什么不同。
The crow had jet black feathers, but there
was a prctty purplish and violct gloss, or sheen,
on its back and wings, and its cyes were bright
and had a knowing look in them. They were
hazcl-brown in color, and the bird had a qucer
way of turning his head on one sidc to look at
Twinklc with his right cyc, and then twisting it
the other side that he might see her with his left
cye. She often wondered if she
looked the samc to both cyes,
or
if cach one made her seem
different.
